Why we built it

We made one for our own wedding. It was the talk of the weekend.

A few weeks before our wedding, we were drowning in the same questions from a hundred different people. So we built a virtual Amanda: her voice, her answers, a few jokes.

We were blown away by the response. Nearly nine in ten guests had a conversation with her. Aunts called her back to ask follow-ups. Groomsmen tried to get her to spill secrets. And the real Amanda's phone was quiet for the first time in months.

How it works

Two hours with us. A whole weekend without your phone.

  1. Step 01

    We meet for two hours.

    We interview you both. Every logistical detail, every question you are tired of answering, and the fun stuff too: how you met, the inside jokes, what you want guests to hear. Then we record a few minutes of your voice.

  2. Step 02

    We clone and tune your voice.

    A few minutes of you reading is all it takes. We build a voice model that keeps your pace, your laugh, the way you say “honestly.” Then we tune it, line by line, until your own mother does a double take.

  3. Step 03

    We teach it everything. Including your sense of humor.

    The schedule, the shuttle, the hotel block, the dress code, the registry, the rain plan. The story of how you met. The right answer when someone asks if they can wear white. It knows what it does not know, and takes a message instead of guessing.

  4. Step 04

    You share the link. Or the number.

    Put it on your wedding site, the invitation insert, the family group chat. It is live from the moment you send it through the week after the wedding.

  5. Step 05

    The best moments, kept.

    On Premium, every conversation ends with an invitation to leave you a private message. After the wedding we edit the sweetest, funniest moments into a short album, press it onto a vinyl record, and send it with a digital copy you can play anywhere.

The things couples ask us.

Which is fitting.

Does it actually sound like me?

Yes. We clone your voice from a short recording made during your build session, then tune the delivery until your friends do a double take. If you would rather not clone your voice, we can use a professional voice instead.

Will guests know it is an AI?

Yes, on purpose. It introduces itself as your virtual stand-in in the first sentence. That is half the fun, and it is the honest way to do it.

What happens when someone asks something it does not know?

It says so gracefully, points them to the right person (your planner, your maid of honor, whoever you choose), and logs the question. You see every question guests asked, so we can add answers before the weekend.

What if the details change?

Send us the change and we update it the same day. During your wedding week we are on call, so a shuttle delay or a rain plan goes live fast.

Can it be both of us?

Yes. A virtual bride and groom, either as one agent that speaks for both of you or two voices guests can choose between. Mention it on the inquiry and we will quote it.

Do we need a wedding website?

No. Every package works as a standalone link and phone number you can share anywhere, and you can link to it from whatever wedding site you already have. If you want a fully custom site with your virtual you on the home page, tell us on the inquiry form and we will quote it.

What is the VowTwin Archive?

On Premium, after your VowTwin answers a guest’s question it asks whether they would like to leave you a private message. Guests say things to a friendly voice at 11pm that they would never write in a card. After the wedding we edit the best of it into a 10 to 15 minute album, press it onto a vinyl record, and send it with a private digital copy.

How far ahead should we book?

Four weeks before the wedding is comfortable. Details firm up late anyway, so most of the build happens in the final two weeks. If you are closer than that, ask. We have done it in a week.

What happens to my voice afterwards?

Your voice model is used only for your agent. After the wedding we delete it unless you ask us to keep it. Voices are only ever cloned with the explicit, recorded consent of the person being cloned.
